The P1001-D is a filtration unit with high-efficiency centrifugal blower fans that exhausts direct to atmosphere. It is designed to offer local exhaust ventilation for smaller projects, and immediate operator protection. Additionally, the P1001-D also provides operators with a safe workstation for handling potential harmful chemicals. All processes are done under or beside the fan unit in front of the intake filter area.
This extraction unit serves the purpose to sit on top or behind a bespoke hood or custom made surround. It enables users to design and construct hoods/enclosures/benches to suit their particular requirements. The unit can be positioned at any angle offering total flexibility of enclosure design. This unit is suitable for use in dental & medical laboratories, pharmaceutical labs, school science laboratories, design and research laboratories and electronic manufacturing.

The particulate (intake) filter is a three stage graduated fibre filter with a high dust holding capacity for long life. Filtration to 5 micron particles. (Optional HEPA filters available to approx 0.3 micron particles). Through the process of filtration, adsorption and dilution, operator exposure to potentially hazardous substances is vastly reduced or eliminated.
