Description
Packed with novel technical features, even the standard models without air dryers are fitted with a “soft start” solenoid valve. This discharges the air pressure in the pump whenever the power is disconnected, protecting the compressor from overload and extending the service life. Anti corrosion, internally coated air receivers are fitted across the range ensuring the air is contamination free.
This modei is fitted with the innovative Air Dryer unit designed to guarantee “desert dry” air. The multi row, fan assisted after-cooler reduces the air temperature prior to entering the dryer. Dramatically reducing the air temperature enables the integral coalescing filter to collect and remove water droplets as small as 0.01 microns.
In this way it is possible to remove 99% moisture content before the desiccant adsorption system powers the dryness right down. Constructed from high quality “Inox” stainless steel, the dryer regenerates itself every time the compressor cycles and requires no regular maintenance. An integral downstream HE dust filter removes any residual dust.
And, uniquely on this size of compressor, the Duplex units are fitted with a sequential start system which enables these 3.0Hp and 4.0Hp systems to run off a 20 amp single phase power source reducing installation costs and start up load. Every compressor is protected by a comprehensive warranty extending to 5 years on the air receiver and 2 years for the compressor (subject to terms). Having the same innovative features and technological advances as the standard VT models, this additional range has been developed to deliver the highest quality of compressed air with noise levels from as low as 54 dB(A). To ensure the highest levels of reliability, we have carefully studied air flow dynamics and incorporated full force through ventilation to keep everything running cool. A thermostatically controlled sensor signals when any of the four cooling fans should run, reducing noise levels to the absolute minimum. An optional integral air dryer and after cooler is available on every model achieving a -40°c Dewpoint, delivering the ultimate combination of silence, oil free and dry air in an ultra compact and stylish package.
Oil free will not pass oil, but may pass condensation depending on conditions and usage. This compressor has a 50% duty cycle. This means 10 minutes on, 10 minutes off. Up to a maximum of 30 minutes on, 30 minutes off. Not intended for heavy duty use. Should not be used with air tools. These are low noise compressors. "Silent" or "Ultra Quiet" does not mean zero sound. Please see the Noise Level (dBA) figures.
