This is an extra safe method of 'twisting' the tip onto a luer lock barrel or dispense valve. All tips are safe for use to 100 psi and are certified silicone-free plastics. This ensures that fluids dispensed through them are not contaminated by silicone mould release agents (used in plastic injection manufacturing).
