Dispensing sealants, grease and solder pastes

Simple advice for using the correct parts and settings to handle these high viscosity fluids.

10cc to 55cc clear barrel - Size depends on dispense requirements. Fill about 2/3 full.

White wiper piston - insert into barrel until piston touches the end of the fluid. With RTV sealants, if you see too much piston bounce, switch to the red flat walled piston.

Dispense tips - The smooth flowing tapered tips (14 to 27 gauge) provide the best dispensing for most of these fluids, including thick pastes and particle filled materials.

No vacuum is required - Use 0-100 psi style dispenser (not low pressure versions).

For thicker fluids that can string - try using a smaller gauge tip and increase the air pressure.
