Liquid and adhesive
dispenser designed to allow materials to be handled from up to 5 litre sizes.
There is no pouring needed (ie: you can drop a bottle of glue right into the
dip-tube tank). Very little clean up is involved with this system and you do
not smell the strong fumes of the glue as this is a contained system.
The valve is designed to dispense thin and medium liquids with
controlled deposits of glue, with no dripping. The system has two ways to
control the deposit: - needle tip size and tank pressure. The pressure on the
tank can be adjusted and there is a 0-75 psi regulator gauge.
Applying
adhesives by hand can be slow and often too much is applied to each part which
can create mess, waste and possible damage to products. Or too little adhesive
can be applied which creates a weak bond and product failure. With this
system, the adhesive bottle is placed directly inside the compact tank unit and
fed under very low air pressure down flexible feed tubing to the hand held lever valve.
For CA's, dispensing tips supplied are Teflon lined to prevent rapid clogging
of the adhesive. Using Teflon tips allows the operator to dispense without it
blocking too quickly in between breaks or them having to replace tips too
often. For other liquids, a range of Smooth Flow Tapered, Precision TE Tips and Polypro Flexible Tips are also provided.
This dispensing system will ship with a starter stock of dispensing tips, tip caps
and fluid lines. The only requirement for this system is a compressed air
supply of 60-75 psi. We recommend that the air supply is filtered against
moisture if using reactive adhesives such as Cyanoacrylates. We supply low cost 5-micron filters (part TSD800-6).
