Designed to dispense viscous materials fed from cartridges or pumps. The 790HP-LF is a spool design for a fast ON/OFF dispensing action unaffected by material input pressure, and is ideal for material with a viscosity between 5000 to 3,000,000 CPS at pressures of up to 2,500 psi.
The hardened spool slides in PTFE seals and displaces a portion of the material back into the nozzle during shut off, creating an accurate suck-back anti-drip action. An oil chamber creates an additional liquid seal that prevents inadvertent moisture from entering the spool mechanism.
The valve is opened by applying air pressure and closed via a return spring (single acting). A port is provided so that the valve may be connected for air closing without the spring (double acting).
All valves are shipped with a luer lock fluid elbow fitting, airline hose with male quick connect, mounting attachment, tip cap end seal, selection of dispensing tips and user guide. Valves are supplied with a 1 Year warranty.
Do not use this valve for reactive adhesives and fluids such as Cyanoacrylates or other low viscosity liquids. For high viscosity materials only.
